We started Herbie Family Farms with one simple conviction: food tastes better when you know the hands that grew it.
Located just outside Bayfield at the base of the San Juan Mountains, our farm has been a working piece of Colorado land for generations. What began as a small backyard plot grew into something the community now relies on — fresh vegetables in season, herbs year-round, and a porch you can step onto without an appointment.
Everything we grow is done thoughtfully. We rotate crops, build healthy soil, and harvest at peak flavor rather than for shelf life. That's the difference you'll taste.

Tomatoes, peppers, squash, beans, root vegetables, and more — all harvested at the peak of flavor, usually the morning you pick them.
Fresh Herbs
Basil, cilantro, mint, rosemary, thyme, and more. Grown in our garden beds and bundled fresh for you to take home.
Seasonal Fruits
Berries, stone fruit, melons, and other seasonal favorites — grown in our orchard and garden plots for the short window when they're at their best.
